Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled leather-like sheet having excellent air permeability, water vapor transmission and dry cleaning resistance, comprising a silver face consisting of an aggregate of polyurethane thin fibers of specific fineness on one side of a fiber substrate. CONSTITUTION:For example, a fiber aggregate consisting essentially of polyurethane thin fibers having <=1.5dr average single fineness and/or polyurethane thin fibers of bundled fibers thereof is laminated through a polyurethane adhesive to one side of a fiber substrate comprising polyester ultrathin fibers and then a coating film of a dye colorable polymer and/or a colorant-containing polymer is formed to form a leather-like sheet having a silver face and water vapor transmission. The polyurethane thin fibers consist of polyurethane elastomer comprising a polyester diol prepared from a diol mainly having 3- methylpentanediol 1,5 and a dicarboxylic acid as a soft segment.
