Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively suppress curling to be fine by supplying warm air to the back surface of a recording member just after fixing in an area which continues to a fixing processing area. CONSTITUTION:A warm air addition means 20 is constituted of a blower 22 and a heater 23 in a flow path 21 and it provides an air intake 21b and an air outlet 21a. And the air outlet 21a is made to turn to an area obtained just after the recording member passes through a fixing processing area held between a heat fixing roller 2 of a fixing device 1 and a pressurizing roller 12. In such a constitution, the warm air heated to be 30 deg.C or more by the heater 23 is blown to the recording member P just after the fixing processing is executed to it by the blower 22. Thus, the difference of dehydrating time between the toner image carrier surface and the back surface of the recording member P is made small and the curling can be effectively suppressed to be fine.
