Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow the title coating device to easily cope with the variations in the coating amt. by recognizing the image of the shape and area of the coated paste by a CCD camera, calculating the paste coating amt. by a CPU from the image, and adjusting the coating condition for the desired coating amt. CONSTITUTION:The desired paste coating amt. is stored in the CPU 1, and the paste coating time of a dispenser 6 and air pressure are roughly adjusted to obtain the desired coating amt. The paste is then applied on a substrate on an XY table 10 from a needle 7, and the table 10 is moved to place the paste under the CCD camera 8, the image of the shape and area of the paste is binarized by a comparator 3, and the image signal is stored in a memory 2. The area of the applied paste is computed by the CPU 1 to calculate the applied paste amt. which is compared with the applied paste amt. stored, and the coating time to approach the desired paste amt. and air pressure are newly set based on the result.
