Abstract
PURPOSE:To take out only deviation regardless of the size of a work, by providing an adder permitting the input of the output of a detector and that of a four-quadrant multiplying type D/A converter and regulating an offset value so as to bring said outputs to zero. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus consists of a setting device 3 for setting an offset value and an adder 5 permitting the input of the output of an oscillator 1 and that of a four-quadrant multiplying type D/A converter 4 inputting said offset value. When the output voltage due to the deflection of the core of a detector 2 is set to Va, for example, when the dimension of a work 2G is 500mm, the output voltage Va varies by the quantity corresponding to the deviation of the work 2G as shown by a drawing (a) and, therefore, the offset value is set to -Va volt so as to bring said voltage Va to 0 volt to be inputted to the adder 5. Whereupon, the characteristic curve shown by a drawing (a) falls and the output corresponding to the deviation of the work 2G is displaced in the vicinity of 0 volt. Therefore, since about + or -0.5mm may be considered with respect to the irregularity of the work 2G, the output is deflected in the vicinity of 0 volt and, even when an A/D converter of about 10 volt is used, accuracy of about 1mum can be obtained.
