Abstract
PURPOSE: To suppress temperature fluctuation of a water circulation circuit by providing a controller delivering a stop signal for a heat pump when a detected outlet temperature exceeds a set outlet temperature higher than a specified level. CONSTITUTION: When the capacity being required for a heat pump is low, valve opening is restricted to lower the evaporation temperature thus reducing flow rate of refrigerant circulating through the heat pump and lowering the capacity thereof. Even if the load capacity is decreased and the flow regulation valve 7a of an electrically driven control valve 7 is closed fully by a signal from a controller 8, the refrigerant flows at a lower flow rate because of a bypass channel 7b and the lowest pressure is ensured. When the load is decreased subsequently and the water temperature drops below a lower limit, the controller 8 stops operation of a compressor 1. Consequently, the water temperature rises again but the controller 8 prohibits operation until a specified time elapses and then restarts the operation. Capacity control and interruption of operation are repeated by opening/closing the control valve 7 thus sustaining the water temperature at a set level.
