Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a plated steel material having superior adhesion of the plating at ordinary temp. and after heating, by immersing a steel material in a plating soln. for a specified time at a specified relative speed before plating. CONSTITUTION:A steel material is immersed in a plating soln. for 0.1-2.5sec immersion time (T) at >=0.5T+0.25m/sec relative speed before plating. The steel material is then plated with a Zn-Ni alloy in a chloride bath as the plating soln. A Zn-Ni alloy plated steel material having superior adhesion of the plating at ordinary temp. and after heat treatment is obtd.
