Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the scale of a program small by integrating the sharing part of the program to an NT and to an ET, and processing respective first and second control means perform a service with the switching of a communication mode. CONSTITUTION:At an ET (an exchange terminating equipment) 3, a second control means 7 is provided which can be made into an incoming/outgoing call communication mode to set the link of an S/T point (the S point and T point) 4 and a U point 5 only at the time of incoming/outgoing calls, or can be made into a normal communication mode to always set the link of the U point 5 as long as the power supply of the ET3 is in an ON-condition. At an NT (a network terminating equipment) 2, a first control means 6 is provided which can be made into the incoming/outgoing call communication mode to set the link of the S/T point 4 only at the time of incoming/ outgoing calls, or can be made into the normal communication mode to always set the S/T point 4 as long as the power supply is in the ON-condition and the link of the U point 5 is set. Thus, the scale of the program to give to the NT2 and to ET3 is made small, and the program can program an incoming/outgoing call communication service, a waiting type communication service and a private line communication service.
