Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate a call monitor relay for a private exchange, by providing a switch device between a central office trunk and a channel network as well as between a specific extension telephone and the channel network, and reading the monitor during a non-busy state out of a main storage device. CONSTITUTION:In the daytime mode, a relay TL works within a switch device TR with a central office trunk TRK and a main telephone EX connected to a channel network SW respectively. The daytime mode is switched to the night mode by actuating a changeover switch NT. A CPU (not shown in the diagram) detects the operation of the switch NT through a scanner SCN, reads the non- busy information out of a main storage device and releases a relay TL via a relay controller RC. Thus the trunk TRK is connected to the telephone EX via contacts tl2 and (r). For the incoming of the night mode, a relay R within the TRK works to call out the telephone EX. For the switching to the daytime mode, the operation of the switch NT is detected, and the relay TL is worked via a device RC after confirmation of the non-busy state.
