Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of high pressure rubber hose by a method wherein a mandrel in a continuous length is made by connecting a plurality of mandrels in specified lengths so as to cover its outer periphery with an inner layer, a reinforcing layer and a sheathing layer and, after that, to form the rubber hose in a continuous length by vulcanizing rubber and finally to cut off the connecting parts of the mandrels for separating the mandrels from the hose. CONSTITUTION:A mandrel in a continuous length 9 or 10, which is easily detachable at connecting parts 8, is made by connecting mandrels in specified lengths 7 through the connecting parts 8. The outer periphery of the mandrel in a continuous length is covered with an inner layer rubber produced by extrusion and wound with a reinforcing layer. Further, its resultant outside is covered with an outer layer rubber produced by extrusion in order to form a hose in a continuous length. After the formatting of the rubber hose in a continuous length, the rubber hose is sent to a rubber vulcanizing device for vulcanizing rubber. After the completion of the rubber hose in a continuous length by vulcanizing, the mandrel in a continuous length is cut off near the connecting parts 8 so as to divide it into the mandrels in specified lengths 7 and, after that, to take the divided mandrels in specified lengths 7 outside from a cut part in order to bring the manufacture of the high pressure rubber hose to an end.
