Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a method for the production of the titled hose in good yield, wherein the extension of the hose can be obviated when a mandrel is withdrawn from the hose, and an elongate mandrel can be used, by semivulcanizing a rubber hose with reinforcing threads therein, and then withdrawing a mandrel from the rubber hose. CONSTITUTION:First, the unvulcanized rubber hose 8 with reinforcing threads therein is taken up onto a take-up drum 18, and then after it is semivulcanized in an autoclave 20 or the like, the rubber hose 8 is withdrawn from the mandrel 2. Then after the semivulcanized rubber hose 8 is cut, a bent mandrel 24 is inserted into the cut semivulcanized rubber hose followed by the vulcanization to obtain the intended rubber hose. As the mandrel 2 may be preferably used a flexible mandrel of a nylon, or the like.

の方法が知られている。まず鉄のマンドレル上に内面ゴ

外面ゴムを形成して未加硫の補強糸入りゴムホースを作
成する。次いでこのゴムホースかう鉄マンドレルを引き
抜き、ゴムホースを裁断する。

未加硫状態で行なうため、長尺マンドレルを使うと引き
抜き時にゴムホースがのびてしまうからである。一方マ
ンドレルとして2〜3m長さの短尺マンドレルの場合に
は、短尺の長さに合わせて裁断するが、その長さは必要
とする長さと必らずしb・一致しない。従って歩留りの
低下をまねくことになる。
