Abstract
PURPOSE: To make inside temperature uniform by controlling air volume in such a way that the volume of circulating air in a freezer passing through an evaporator is made minimum at the time of pull-down until the inside temperature measured by a temperature sensor reaches a high temperature side of an in-range area and the air volume is fixed to a maximum value after the inside temperature reaches the high temperature side of the in-range area. CONSTITUTION: A freezer comprises a compressor 1, a condenser 2, an expansion mechanism 4 and an evaporator 5 and can control under a capacity control inside temperature to a refrigerating area and a freezing area at temperature lower than that of the refrigerating area. A temperature sensor RS is provided for measuring the inside temperature. An air volume control means is provided for setting an in-range area having a prescribed temperature width near to setting temperature in the refrigerating area, making minimum the volume of air circulating in the freezer passing through the evaporator 5 at the time of pull-down up to time when the inside temperature measured by the temperature sensor RS reaches the high temperature side of the in-range area and fixing the air volume to a maximum air volume after the arrival to the high temperature side of the in-range area. Thus, pull-down time is changed and decreased so as to meet objects to be refrigerated at the inside setting temperature and the inside temperature can be made uniform.
