Abstract
PURPOSE:To wash and clean the filter which has collected greasy particles in the oily smoke without heating by forming the greasy particle trapping filter with a belt of a permeable and flexible sheet which can be rotated and partly immersed in an ultrasonic cleaning vessel. CONSTITUTION:When a ventilation fan 7 is operated by a fan motor 6 at the time of cooking, the oily smoke emanating from a cooking pan 2 is drawn to a filter 10 where greasy particles 9 are trapped to allow the cleaned air to be discharged to the outside from an outlet 12 without dirtying the ventilation fan 7 and the interior of the body 4. As the filter 10 is gradually clogged with trapped greasy particles 9, it is regularly rotated to be dipped in cleaning liquid 13 by a drive roller 16, tension rollers 17 and a dipping roller 18. At the same time, an ultrasonic oscillator 15 is continuously operated during the operation of the drive roller. 16 to separate greasy particles trapped in the filter 10 by means of the ultrasonic oscillation. The separated greasy particles 9 are combined with the cleaning liquid 13 by the surface active connection so that they may not again stick to the filter 10. In this way, the filter 10 is cleaned.
