Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an antisuntan aerosol cosmetic having improved ultraviolet- absorbing effect and capable of lowering the skin stimulation, by using an organic silicone polymer, a flon gas and/or liquefied petroleum gas and an ultraviolet absorber. CONSTITUTION:The objective cosmetic contains (A) 2-50wt.%, preferably 2-30wt.% of an organic silicone polymer composed of the unit of formula (R is 1-6C hydrocarbon group or phenyl; n is 1.0-1.8) preferably having an average molecular weight of 1,500-10,000, (B) 5-90wt.% of a flon gas and/or liquefied petroleum gas as a propellant and (C) >=0.05wt.% (the upper limit depends upon the kind of the agent in view of the safety to the skin) of an ultraviolet absorber (e.g. of the type of benzoic acid, salicylic acid, cinnamic acid or benzophenone). The water-resistance is improved by the effect of the component A to enable the prevention of unexpected blister or erythema caused by suntan.
