Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a non-emulsion type foaming aerosol composition having excellent detergency, applicability and stability and useful as a cleansing agent for oily cosmetic, etc., by using a liquid oil component and a propellant in combination with an organic silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective non-emulsion type foaming aerosol composition contains a liquid oil component (e.g. avocado oil, camellia oil, squalane and lauryl alcohol), an organic silicone resin (preferably having an average molecular weight of about 1,500-10,000) and a propellant (e.g. trichlorofluoromethane or propane). The preferable amounts of the liquid oil component, the organic silicone resin and the propellant are about 30-75wt.%, >=0.1wt.% or thereabout and about 3-90wt.%, respectively. The defoaming time can be prolonged and the foam can be stabilized by adding water to the system to an extent not to deteriorate the stability. The composition is useful e.g. as a cleansing agent for oily cosmetic and has excellent detergency, applicability and stability.
