Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the plastic film dust remover capable of effectively removing dust by composing the plastic film dust remover of a first discharge electrode which destaticizes a plastic film, a remover of dust, a dust capturing device and a second discharge electrode for destaticizing the electrified film again. CONSTITUTION: The plastic film A which is electrified negative and adhered with the dust is sent from a feed port 6 into the dust remover 1 by first free rollers 8, 8'. The first discharge electrode 2, then, makes corona discharge to generate positive ions and the film A electrified negative is neutralized. The film A is then sent to the remover 3 and the dust on the film A surfaces is removed by rotation of brushes 10, 10'. The removed dust is blown up by a fan 20 and is captured by a filter 19. At this time, the film A is again electrified negative by the rotation friction of the brushes 10, 10' and is sent to the lower part of the second discharge electrode 5 past the remover 3. The second discharge electrode 5 makes corona discharge to generate the positive ions and the film A is destaticized again. The film A is thereafter sent to the rollers 12, 12' and is delivered from a delivery port 7.
