Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve welding quality by connecting additional terminal to a terminal after a terminal-equipped strap is formed on electrode plate group by parts of a lead storage battery. CONSTITUTION:An additional terminal 7 is connected to a terminal, after terminal-equipped strap 6 is formed on a electrode plate group by parts 1 by a cast-on system. In this manner, it is possible to equalize lead amount and thermal capacity of the strap 6 of the terminal and a strap group 5 other than that, and to widen conditions for completely welding the plate group strap 6 and electrode plate ear parts 1 together. It is therefore to equalize electrode plate group welding conditions with improvement of welding quality.
