Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent electric shock, by arranging a leak current reducing circuit through a first circuit comprising a zero phase reactor and a second circuit comprising a capacitor between output end of PWM inverter and input end of motor. CONSTITUTION:PWM inverter 1 switches output elements 2-7 and feeds voltage between lines of a motor 9. A zero phase reactor 14 is connected between inverter output end Au and input end Bu for U phase of the motor 9, and similar connections are made for V and W phases. A capacitor 15 and a coil 16 are connected in series to form a second circuit which is connected to the output end Bu of the zero phase reactor 14. The zero phase reactor 14 in first circuit functions to suppress fluctuation of potential between neutral point of the motor 9 and the ground. The coil 16 and the like in second circuit feeds transient zero phase current positively.
