Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the electrical defects of a multi-layered magnetic disk by using a coating compd. contg. a photosetting resin to form the coated film on a substrate side of two layers of the coated films on a nonmagnetic substrate. CONSTITUTION:The coated film on the side near the substrate of the magnetic disk having two layers of the coated films, one of which contains the coated film formed by dispersing ferromagnetic powder into a high-polymer binder, on the nonmagnetic substrate contains the thermosetting resin and is cured by radiations in a short period of time. There is, therefore, no need for carrying of the disk, etc., into a furnace for the purpose of curing and the adhesion of dust, etc., onto the film surface is prevented. The 2nd layer of the coated film is thus laminated and formed without having the electrical defects. The multi-layered magnetic disk with which the electrical defects are suppressed is thereby obtd.
