Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain light forming body having excellent bending strength, fire resistance and solvent resistance, by forming slurry of calcium silicate hydrate contg. self-bridging type acrylic acid ester polymer, reinforcing fiber and anion dispersant and thereafter, by drying. CONSTITUTION:The slurry of 100pts.wt. calcium silicate hydrate is blended with 3-20pts.wt. self-bridging type acrylic acid ester polymer having 10-40 deg.C temp. of forming film, 1-30pts.wt. reinforcing fiber and 0.1-3pts.wt. anionic dispersant and the water content is regulated to 4-12 water/solid weight ratio. Then, the slurry regulated the water content is mixed, press-formed while dehydrating and thereafter, dried to obtain the forming body. As for calcium silicate to be used, calcium silicate obtd. by hydrothermally reacting lime raw material, silica raw material and water, usually called tobermorite, sonolite is preferable. Though the water/solid weight ratio is decreased, the most suitable viscosity of the slurry is obtd. by adding with the anionic dispersant above-mentioned.
