Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten a time necessary for projecting and prevent a bad effect due to shocking, by a method wherein a projection rod is advanced by a force smaller than the pushing force of a projecting plate and the position of the projection rod, whereat the movement thereof is stopped by contact between the tip end of the rod and the projecting plate, is detected to determine the position as the projection starting position of a molded form in a molding process. CONSTITUTION:When projecting advance is selected by a manual switch, a motor 3 is rotated into advancing direction with a torque, set in a low torque setter 22, and a nut 5 is turned through a V-belt 4. According to the turning of the nut 5, a projecting rod 6 is advanced. At the same time, counting of a time, set in a time setter 27, is started and the position of the projecting rod 6 upon the finish of the counting is detected by the number of pulses, counted by a position counter 29, while the position is inputted into a memory in a central controller 28 as the projection starting position (also the limiting position of retreatment after the projection).
