PURPOSE:To constitute a side dam by a light member having a small shape and to fit the side dam to narrow place by supporting side dam block and arranging a driving device working upward force to the side dam. CONSTITUTION:Sprocket 30 is arranged at intermediate of the side dam block 9a and is supported to a boss arranged in a guide 10 for guiding roller 9d and the teeth part thereof holds the roller 9d while holding as inserting. A shift thereof is connected with a motor having the fixed torque giving torque toward reverse direction to the direction, which load by the side dam blocks 9a, 9a... works. The sprocket 30 supports the side dam block 9a by holding the roller 9d while inserting and the upward force is worked to the above side dam 9a by the fixed torque motor. By this method, the load working to the side dam block at the lowest layer is reduced and reaction of a guide 10 can be reduced.
