Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize influences of impurities and to form an aluminum foil showing high capacitance from even a low purity ingot by heating a rolled stock to a temp. of >=400 deg.C, rapidly lowering stock temps. in the range of 400-250 deg.C, and performing the final cold rolling. CONSTITUTION:For manufacture of an aluminum foil from an aluminum ingot, a stock is heated a temp. of >=400 deg.C immediately before the final cold rolling, temp. lowering from 400 deg.C to 250 deg.C is rapidly performed, and then the final cold rolling is performed. The reason of heating the stock to a temp. of >=400 deg.C is to obtain the stock where impurities precipitated up to that time uniformly and uniformly enter into solid solution. The reason to avoid the temp. range of 400-250 deg.C is such that the impurities again precipitate and remain in the aluminum foil when the stock is exposed to temps. in that range for a long time, and affect performance of the foil. Hence, the foil showing high capacitance is formed because influences of the impurities are minimized.
