Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure stable combustion while enabling the optimum drying temperature to be maintained in a grain dyer with a combustion device by controlling a combustion quantity based on a set degree of drying and the detected temperature of hot air during the drying to intermittently operate a combustion at the combustion quantity below the minimum combustion quantity. CONSTITUTION: Drying temperature is set by a setting part 1 and inputted into a comparison arithmetic section 5 together with the temperatures detected by an outside air temperature detecting section 2 and a hot air temperature detecting section 3. The comparison arithmetic section 5 takes in moisture information of grain from a moisture detecting section 4 to perform a comparison computation of the information based on the specified procedure and outputs the results to a combustion quantity increase/decrease control section 6, which 6 in turn, increases or decreases the combustion quantity to attain a preset temperature. If the set temperature is not gained even under the minimum combustion quantity, an intermittent combustion control part 7 is actuated to keep the temperature at a preset value by intermittent control of the combustion. This can stabilize the combustion while allowing maintaining of the optimum drying temperature.
