Abstract
PURPOSE:To complete a predetermined scavenging action and to improve a safety characteristic in a combustion safety controlling circuit for a hot water boiler and the like by a method wherein a temperature adjusting unit can be kept forcedly at its OFF state during a post-purging period even if a starting signal is generated. CONSTITUTION:In this control circuit, a fuel supplying signal EV is kept at 'false' i.e. 'H' level during post-purging period, and a blower driving signal FM is kept at 'false' level, i.e. 'L' level. Accordingly, a voltage at a negative input terminal of a comparator 6 becomes higher than a reference voltage and an output of the comparator 6 becomes an 'L' level. Therefore, an output voltage of a thermistor 7 becomes an 'L' level, resulting in that it gives suspectedly a state in which a temperature of the thermistor 7 is increased. Accordingly, a temperature adjusting function within LSI 1 becomes an 'OFF' state and then operation of the igniter unit continues to be terminated during a postpurging period.
