Abstract

PURPOSE:To take a close-up photograph of about 1/4 magnification by fixing a 2nd group outside a zoom range while displacing it to an object side by a specific quantity from a telephoto end, and moving a 1st group and the 2nd group in one body for focusing in both of the zoom range and a close-up photography ready state. CONSTITUTION:This zoom lens consists of the 1st group I with positive refracting power, the 2nd group II with negative refracting power, a 3rd group III with positive refracting power, a 4th group with positive refracting power, and a 5th group V with negative refracting power in order from the object side so that the 1st group and the 3rd-5th groups move to the object side and the 2nd group moves to the image side at the time of zooming from the wide-angle range to the telephoto range. Then, the 2nd group is fixed outside the zoom range while displaced to the object side by the specific quantity from the telephoto end to enter the close-up photography ready state, and the 1st group and 2nd group are moved in one body for focusing in both the zoom range and close-up photography ready state.
