Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a mirror frame and improve the zoom ratio of a zoom lens consisting of three positive, negative and positive moving lens components by dividing the 3rd lens component into positive and negative lens components and moving these divided lens components independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:A titled zoom lens consists of the 1st lens component with positive focal distance, the 2nd lens component with negative focal distance, the 3rd lens component with positive focal distance, and the 4th lens component with negative focal distance which are arrayed in order from the object side. The system consisting of the 1st and 2nd lens components in the whole zoom area has positive focal distance and the system consisting of the 3rd and 4th lens components has positive focal distance. When the 1st, 3rd and 4th components are moved to the object side and the 2nd lens component is moved or fixed so that the space between the 1st and 2nd lens components is expanded and the space between the 1st and 3rd lens components are reduced, zooming from wide angle to telephoto positions is made possible. Thus, zooming including wide angle photographing is made possible with 8 numerical limitation formulas.
