Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency, by a method wherein a protruded part, provided on both sides with a broken-out section part and protruded outwardly of an outer cylinder, is formed in a level higher than that of the upper surface of oil liquid in the reservoir of the outer cylinder, gas is forced to flow in the outer cylinder from the broke-out section part, and the protruded part is pressurized toward the inner cylinder side to close the gap of the broke- out section part. CONSTITUTION:A protruded part 32 is formed in a level higher than that of the upper surface of oil liquid in a reservoir 16 of an outer cylinder 12. Thus, filling of the interior of a hydraulic buffer with oil, seam welding of an upper cap, and sealing with gas are effected in an erected state, and a work ranging from assembly to seal with gas is extremely simplified. Further, since there is no need to turn over the hydraulic buffer and bubbles are prevented from production in the buffer, a time required fro defoaming is saved, working efficiency is sharply improved, and a damping force performance test can be accurately effected.
