Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a ribbon mask and a wire guide from making contact with each other and prevent a printing paper from being contaminated, by providing a first arm part comprising an ink ribbon feeding-out port and a second arm part comprising an ink ribbon feeding in port, pulling both end parts of the ribbon mask backward to curve the mask forward, end fixing the mask to the first and second arm parts. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon mask 15 is fixed in the condition where the back side of the mask is in contact with ribs 13c, 13d, 14c and 14d, whereas holes 15a and 15b are engaged with protrusions 13b and 14b, and a central part of the mask is tensioned in the directions of an arrow A and an arrow B. Thus, the mask 15 is curved in a recessed form in the direction of a recording medium 8, in the vicinity of a printing region. Since a tension is applied to the mask 15 itself, the mask 15 itself is hardly deformed, and since a central part of the mask 15 is curved in the recessed form in the direction of the printing paper 8, a sufficient spacing can be set between a wire guide 6a and the mask 15. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the mask 15 and the wire guide 6a from making contact with each other, and to prevent the paper 8 from being contaminated.
