Abstract

PURPOSE:To cool a bearing and prevent grease from being deteriorated, by applying cooling air flowing through a ventilation flue, on the periphery of the bearing of a bearing box, and by discharging the air from a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:Cooling air flowing into a frame 11 from an intake 15 is diverted to an air hole 8 for a first ventilation flue and a second ventilation flue 20 positioned on the center side of a core 3. By the cooling air diverted to the air hole 8, a rotor 2 is cooled. So far as the cooling air diverted to the second ventilation flue 20 is concerned, the flue 20 is much separated from the rotor bar 5 of a heat generation source, and so the temperature rise of the air is suppressed. The cooling air flows out of the ventilation flue 20 and flows on the periphery of a bearing 14, and the bearing 14 is cooled.
