Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively cool a rectifying device, by installing a fan to a flank of the rectifying device side of a rotor by facing the cooling fins of the rectifying device opposedly so as to function as a side plate of the fan and by letting cooling winds flow along the cooling fins.
CONSTITUTION: Doughnut plate-shaped cooling fins 13a, 13a' are mounted to either of the two of the front side and the rear side such as the insides of frames 1, 1' at the rear side, and a rectifying device 13 is disposed which is provided with a rectifying element 13b arranged onto the fins. A centrifugal fan 10' for blast is combined with a flank of the rectifying device 13 side of a rotor 7, the cooling fins 13a, 13a' of the rectifying device are faced to the fan 10' so as to substantially function as a side plate of the contrifugal fan 10', a ventilation port 11' for taking in cooling winds is mounted to a bottom of the one side frame 1', to which the rectifying device 13 is installed, and a ventilation port 12' for discharge to a cylinder portion 1'a of the frame 1', and the cooling winds are circulated along the cooling fins, thus effectively cooling the device.
