Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the color stain of the titled material by incorporating an antidispersive scavenger of the oxidant of a color developing main agent which has a specified range of pK value, in the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains the antidispersive scavenger of the oxidant of the color developing main agent which has the pK value of 9.0-11.0. The reaction between the oxidant of the color developing main agent and said scavenger is a redox reaction. When the pK value is >=10.0, said reaction becomes inactive, and it is not suitable to thin the titled material. And, when the pK value is <=9.0, the shelf-life of the tiled material become worse, and especially, the photographic side effect becomes large in a high humidity condition. Thus, the specified scavenger has its activity and shelf-life compatible with each other in high level, whereby the color stain of the titled material is very effectively prevented.
