Abstract
PURPOSE:To narrow the band of a beam of a large diameter in which a speckle is not output by providing a pair of etalons inclined reversely to a laser optical axis in a resonator. CONSTITUTION:A laser device is composed of a laser medium 1, an output mirror 2 having partial reflecting mirror function, a total-reflecting mirror 3, and a pair of etalons 5, 6. A resonator is formed of the mirror 3 and the mirror 2. The etalons 5, 6 are so inclined reversely to one another within 15 deg. at a position perpendicular to an optical axis as a reference. A parallel beam 7 incident to the etalon 5 is refracted in a solid section 5a, transmitted through a reflecting film 5a, and reflected on an opposite reflecting film 5d. It is multiply reflected between the films 5b and 5d, and the divided lights are fed through a solid section 5e to output a light 9 of parallel arrays to an exterior. Similar operation in the etalon 5 is also repeated in the etalon 6 thereby to output only a parallel beam narrowed in its band in a large diameter to an exterior.
