Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable selection of a wide range of color tones and easy acquisition of recorded matter in the same color tone as a printed matter by heating micropoints of paste ink, causing them to protrude through generation of bubbles and transferring this protrusion to a material to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 1 runs by rotation of rolls 2, 3 in an arrow direction, and paste ink 5 sticks to the surface of the sheet 1 at the bottom of the roll 3. When the micropoints of the paste ink sticking to the upper surface of the sheet 1 are heated at 50 deg.C or higher from the rear of the sheet 1, a foaming agent contained in the paste ink 5 foams and the heated points protrude by bubbles. These protruding points are caused to come into contact with recording paper 8 which runs on a rotating roll 9 to transfer ink. Thus it is possible to draw characters or pictures required for a material to be recorded by the above-mentioned method. Further, recorded matter with the same color tone as printed matter can be obtained by adding the same pigment or coloring material as those of printed matter to the paste ink 5.
