Abstract
PURPOSE:To judge proper molten material temperature and the range of filling time at a desired mold temperature by finding functions with variables of filling times for the average temperature of respective element divided finely the molten material temperature distribution at the time of completion of filling or the maximum molten material temperature in all the elements at the average temperature or intermediate layer temperature respectively. CONSTITUTION:Dividing of elements of a shape model of a molded product is carried out for the purpose of resin fluid analysis in a mold and the finite element method is applied. First, the mold temperature is fixed (75 deg.C), and one or two kinds or more of resin temperature, for instance, three kinds of nozzle section resin temperature, 280 deg.C, 300 deg.C and 315 deg.C, are selected, and molding condition varying the filling time of seven kinds in the range of 1-15sec for respective resin temperatures are set for carrying out analysis computation in order. In a characteristic curve Tn=fn1(t) (n=1, 2, 3), the temperature rise DELTATn generated by shear heat generation and the resin temperature stability dTn/dt to the variation of filling time at the completion of filling are important for grasping the variation trend when the resin temperature and filling time are varied.
