Abstract
PURPOSE:To heighten heat transfer coefficient, by determining the pitches of heat transfer tubes in the direction at right angles with an air flow larger than those in the flowing direction of an air, and by disposing the heat transfer tubes so that the projected area of heat transfer tubes in a row (2N-1) does not overlap on the heat transfer tubes in a row (2N+1), although it partially overlaps on the heat transfer tubes in a row 2N which are positioned right after the tubes in the row (2N-1). CONSTITUTION:Heat transfer tubes are disposed in such a manner that the projected area 15a of heat transfer tubes 10a in the first row to the downstream side against the flowing direction of an air 14, is partially overlapped on the heat transfer tubes 10b in the second row, positioned in the after flow of heat transfer tubes 10a. With this arrangement, a corrugation crest 13 can be installed getting into the after-flow part of a heat transfer tubes 10a; accordingly, a flow which comes off from the ridge 16 of a crest 13 can adhere on a fin 11 on the downstream side again, so that the heat transfer rate in this part can be improved. In case that condensate adheres on the surface of a fin, it can easily drop passing between the heat transfer tubes of the first and the second rows, so that the heat transfer rate at dewy time can be improved. The heat transfer rates both at dry time and at wet time can be increased, so that a compact and highly efficient heat exchanger with fin can be realized.
