Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve signal transmission characteristics by providing a printed board having a connection terminal with a card between the card and a back panel and driving a connector terminal of the card into the printed board including a pattern formed thereon in opposition to a connector terminal of the back panel. CONSTITUTION:A back panel 7 mounts thereon a connector 6 having a terminal 20, and a card 1 mounts thereon an IC 2. A printed board 3 having a connector terminal 5 is connected with the card 1, thereby allowing the terminal 20 of the back panel 7 to be connected with the connector terminal 5 of the printed board 3. Input and output signals into and from the IC 2 are inputted and outputted through the connector terminal 5. The printed board 3 is of a multi- layer one, inlcusive of a ground layer 11 and a power supply layer 17 as an internal layer. Respective signals from the back panel 7, ground, and power supply signals are transmitted to the printed board 3 via the connector terminal 5. The ground and power supply once enter the common internal layer on the printed board 3, thereby assuring signal characteristics being constant on the printed board.
