Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively operate against vibration or a shock by obtaining a position to push and to open a head pressing board to which a head is fitted when a head is unloaded and moving this position to a position which is out of previous position with the revolution of a holder when the head is loaded. CONSTITUTION:At the time of stopping a device, bars 9 (9a and 9b) are returned to the position to push and to pen a head pressing board 11 by the return power of a spring 8 and the pressing board 11 of a magnetic head 10 is hung-up. Then, a condition (an unload condition) is obtained to separate the magnetic head 10 from the surface of a magnetic disk 3. At a device using time, a fin 5 receives a wind by the generation of wind pressure to accompany the revolution of the magnetic disk and defeats the return power of the sprig 8 and the bars 9 are moved to the position of a fitting part 12 of the pressing board 11 of BB'. At such a time, the magnetic head 10 gradually contacts the magnetic disk 3 and the magnetic head 10 is loaded on the magnetic disk 3. Thus, at the time of stopping the device, the head is floated from the magnetic disk and the damage of the head and the disk is prevented.
