Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A reflecting mirror 104 is installed so as to be capable of being driven in the perpendicular direction against the track by coils 112, 113 for beam shift and permanent magnets 114, 115 for beam shift, attached on it, and constitutes an actuator for beam shift. Simultaneously when objective lens 106 is driven by the tracking actuator, the light is shifted by driving this mechanism so as to make the central axis of the light coincident with the central axis of the objective lens. Thus, the central axis of the light coincides with the central axis of the objective lens, and consequently, the shading or the oblique incidence of the light is eliminated, and a device free from the problems of the deterioration of a recording characteristic, the fluctuation of a reproducing signal level, the offset of a control signal and so on can be constituted.
