Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the titled system by saving the state information on an inlet point of a program to be debugged to initialize the debugging environment when the re-execution is instructed and at the same time restoring the state based on the saved state to deliver the control to the inlet point. CONSTITUTION:A debugger 15 is formed with an initialization processing part 16 and an interrupted point processing part 19 to a program 10 to be debugged. The part 16 includes an inlet point state saving process part 17; while the part 19 includes a re-execution instruction analyzing part 20 and a re-execution control part 21. Then a work area is secured via the part 16 when the execution of the program 10 is started. At the same time, the state information on an inlet point 11 is saved into an inlet state memory part 22 via the part 17. Then the part 20 detects a re-execution request for the debugging instruction when the execution of the program 10 is interrupted. Thus the part 21 initializes the debugging environment and restores a register, etc., based on the information stored in the part 22 to deliver the control to the point 11.
