Abstract

PURPOSE: To use columns provided with connecting means at their upper ends and transverse poles provided with connecting means at their ends as basic components and extending staircases for scaffold and scaffold plates on the transverse poles and arranging them outside scaffold building frames. CONSTITUTION: A scaffold comprises a working floor unit U1 forming working floors A1 , A2 ,... and a staircase unit U2 for providing staircases for connecting the respective working floors together. Further, the floor unit U1 comprises upright frames 1, scaffold plates 2 and side frames 3. The staircase unit U2 attached to the floor unit U1 comprises support frames 6, staircases 7 for scaffold, scaffold plates 2 and side frames 3. The upright frames 1 are arranged at prescribed intervals. The support frames 6 of the staircase unit U2 are anchored to the external columns 10 of corresponding upright frames 1 to support the staircases 7 for the scaffold. The scaffold plates 2 connected to the upper and lower ends of the respective staircases 7 form landings B. Thus, an operator climbs up and down the staircases 7 through the working floors A and the landings B via opening parts S.
