Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the slip-off of the exhaust pipe of the burner by applying an insulating substance on the inner peripheral surface of an outer pipe or the outer peripheral surface of an inner pipe so that the outer pipe or the inner pipe forms a closed circuit when the outer pipe or the inner pipe is not in contact with an O-ring. CONSTITUTION:When a power source 41 is connected to the detector, a current flows through a circuit formed between the power source 51, an air feed pipe 3, an air feed joint pipe 17, an air feed pipe 9, a branch pipe 13, an exhaust pipe 11, an air exhaust joint pipe 33, an exhaust pipe 31, a detector 39 and the power source 41. Therefore, the detector 39 does not report it at that time. When the current does not flow through the circuit, for example, when the air feed pipe 3 slips off from the air feed joint pipe 17, or when a position where an insulating substance 19 is not applied on the outer periphery of the air feed pipe 3, is in contact with the wire 10 of the air feed pipe 9 the air feed joint pipe 17, the current does not flow through the circuit, and hence the detector 39 reports it. By these procedures, the detector 39 can detect and report the state where the exhaust pipe tends to slip off.
