Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive universalization of the title apparatus and to obtain short flame and low noises by arranging a multitude of air blowoff ports in U-shape in such a manner that short slits on the short side of the U-shape are arrayed vertically with respect to the flow direction of a mixed gas and long slits on the long side thereof are arrayed in parallel to said direction. CONSTITUTION:A multitude of air blowoff ports are arranged in an U-shape as a whole, in a longitudinal direction in which burner port plates are provided, in such a manner that short slits 17 are arrayed vertically with respect to the flow direction of a mixed gas while long slits 17' are arrayed in parallel to said direction. A mixed gas stream (a) is deflected (b) by a secondary air stream ejected from the short slits 17 on the upstream side and is divided into smaller masses (c) of the mixed gas at intervals of a distance l1 along the hollow portion of the U-shape. Each of the smaller masses (c) of the mixed gas flows further in the downstream direction, covering a distance P1, from the long slits 17' on both sides and supplies the secondary air continuously.
