Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve manufacturing efficiency of a magnetron by performing current compensation, in the case the operation starting voltage of the magnetron is not at a rated value, according to the deviation from the rated value to make the oscillation output of the magnetron constant thereby making it possible to eliminate an adjustment work. CONSTITUTION:When a power source of a high frequency heater is turned on, an inverter circuit 20 works and a filament of a magnetron 10 is heated. An anode voltage setting value is switched via an anode voltage switching signal at a timing of adequate heating. If an anode current flows under this condition, the work start voltage of the magnetron 10 is determined to be below a set voltage E1, an anode current setting value is compensated, and a current 6 given to the magnetron 10 is switched. Even if the anode voltage 65 is the voltage E1, the work start voltage of the magnetron 10 is determined to be above the voltage E1 if the anode current 64 does not flow to the magnetron 10 and the anode voltage setting value is switched to E2 via an anode switching signal. If the current 64 flows under this condition, the work start voltage of the magnetron 10 is determined to be in the range of E1-E2, the anode current value is compensated and oscillation output is made constant.
