Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a ceramic with a built-in heater free from residual stresses by coating an electrically heated body embedded in an organic body of a specified characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A heating body 1 embedded in a ceramic material 2 mixed with binder is coated with an organic material 2 to be burned off by heating. As a result, the material 3 is burned off by the heat at the time of sintering to produce a gap 4 between the ceramic material 2 and the heating body 1. Shrinkage of the ceramic material 2 at the time of cooling is absorbed with the gap 4 so that no distortion is produced and a good ceramic with a built-in heater without residual stresses is manufactured.
