CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material comprises a core/shell type silver halide particle which has a outermost shell layer contg. silver chloride and an inner layer sensitized chemically or included a metallic ion therein, and at least one layer of the emulsion layer contg. at least one kind of a magenta coupler shown by formula I. In the formula, Z is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by reacting with the oxidant of a color developing main agent, R is hydrogen atom or a substituting group. Thus, the good image of the titled material with stability against the change of the amount of fogging agent is obtd.
