CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material comprises a pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler shown by formula I and a mercapto compd. of R-SH shown by formula II. In formula I, Za and Zb are each =C(R<2>)-, or =N- group, R<1> and R<2> are each hydrogen atom. or a substituting group, X is hydrogen atom. or a group capable of releasing by a coupling reaction with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent. And, in formula II, R is alkyl, alkenyl or aryl group. The concrete example of the mercapto compd. is a compd. shown by formula III. Accordingly, as the pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler and the compd. shown by formula II are incorporated in the photosensitive material provided with a back layer, the generation of the magenta stain is effectively prevented at the time of developing.
