Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient X-ray intensity by using two pieces of curved crystals having the same radius of Rowland circle and disposing the 1st curved crystal in the position symmetrical with the 1st curved crystal in such a manner that the convergent position of X-ray by the 1st curved crystal is the center of symmetry. CONSTITUTION:The divergent X-ray generated from an X-ray generating point 3 is guided through an X-ray route 16a to the 1st curved crystal 1 and is diffracted by the same. The diffracted X-ray is passed through an X-ray route 16b and is converged by a slit 14. While the converged X-ray is diverted again, the X-ray is passed through an X-ray route 16b and is converged by a slit 14. While the converged X-ray is diverted again, the X-ray passes an X-ray route 16c and is then diffracted by the 2nd curved crystal 2, from which the X-ray is converged through an X-ray route 16d to a sample position 5a and is projected thereto. The generating point 3a, the crystal 1, the slit 14, the crystal 2 and the position 5a exist respectively in the positions where Bragg's rule is satisfied. Namely, the position of the crystals 1, 2 and the slit 14 are determined by 1st-5th arms 6-9 and 13. Since the radius of the Rowland circles of the crystals 1, 2 is R, the diffraction angle of the X-ray can be set at theta simply by setting the central position of the curved surface of the crystal 1 and the position at the fulcrum point 12 of the arm 6 and 7 at 2Rcostheta and 2Rsintheta from the generating point 3a.
