Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate a blowing-off operation and shorten a time period required from a mixing operation to an injection operation by a method wherein compressed air is injected against the mixed material discharged out of a compressing pump connected to a continuous mixing machine to transfer material with air flow and then the mixed material is injected out of a blowing-off nozzle. CONSTITUTION: Indeterminate-shaped refractory materials are fed into a material hopper 6 and then supplied to a continuous mixing machine 7. The mixed material is fed in a continuous forced manner into a compressed air blowing-off pipe 10 by a moineau pump 9 connected to a mixing machine 7. The compressed air blowing-off pipe 10 is connected to a transferring hose 11 and a spray nozzle 12. In this case, compressed air is blown into the transferring hose 11 from behind it, so that the mixed material discharged into the blowing-off pipe 10 is dispersed with the pressure of compressed air, transferred within the transferring hose 11 with air flow and blown from the spray nozzle 12 toward a wall surface 13. With these arrangements as above, the hose is light in its weight and no mixed material is left, resulting in that the spray operation can be facilitated. In addition, a time period ranging from the mixing operation to the injecting operation can be shortened and the material showing a fast hardening speed can be sprayed.
