CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fluid 1 (liquid, powder or grains) is contained in a non-magnetic vessel 2 and heating articles 4 and 5 are put in the magnetic fluid 1. In this condition, an alternating magnetic field is applied to the magnetic fluid 1 with an alternating magnetic field generator 3. As a result, the magnetic fluid 1 generates heat due to the hysteresis loss thereof and the heating articles 4 and 5 in contact therewith are directly heated.
