Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance reliability with a reduced contact resistance and extend the of a contact point by using a temperature sensing element which deforms according to temperatures for two fixed contact point attachment members and increasing the contact pressure between fixed and movable contact points.
CONSTITUTION: Fixed contact point attachment members 1, 2 are constituted with a temperature sensing element which deforms according to temperatures such as for example bimetal. While the attachment members 1, 2 are flat at normal temperatures, they deform at high temperatures respectively in the directions to increase the contact point pressures between fixed contact points 3, 4 and movable contact points 6, 7. Under a high temperature of for example 100°C, the fixed contact member attachment members 1, 2 deflect on the movable contact points 6, 7 side to produce respectively a deflection ▵x. Also, the contact point between the movable contact points 6, 7 shifts as the attachment members 1, 2 deflect. Constituting in this way, contact reliability of the contact point is improved and at the same time the life of the contact point is extended.
